About the Space

The huge central living area opens up through accordion doors to the tropical garden in which are set the four other buildings, where the families and couples that make up your party can escape for perfect privacy when they desire. The accommodation also consists of huge common areas for when you would all like to commune.

20m Lap Pool

A separate kitchen and dining area overlooks the pools where you can watch the kids frolic in the 30cm deep reflection pool or dive deep into the 20m lap pool.

Separate Kitchen & Dining

The chef’s kitchen regularly turns out food for 70 at our wedding receptions and is a joy to cook in. Espresso machine and all the tools await you. If you take advantage of our grocery service you can relax immediately after your long journey to Byron Bay. Or you may choose to book our in-house chef for that special night, eating on the deck under the stars.

Immersed in the Australian bush

The huge block is home to three towering pine trees around which the house was designed. As you hear the kookaburras and the ocean from your bedroom you’ll be immersed in the perfect combination of Australian bush, beach, and five-star Byron Bay luxury accommodation.

King-size double (or twin singles), single bed (1.8m long suitable for kids), double timber vanity, disabled bathroom. Note: separated from Little Fern Room by plantation blinds, glass sliding door, and curtains. Shares bathroom with Little Fern Room guests.

Little Fern Room

Queen double, single mattress on the floor if required. Please note this room is an annex to the Piano Room, and if it is raining access to the bathroom is through the Piano Room. This room does not have its own cupboards.

Pet Friendly Accommodation

Close to Byron Bay

Barefoot at Broken head

is pet-friendly accommodation at its finest. We welcome your dogs with open arms. Your furry friends will love the huge yard, and you can rest easy with a solid fence fully enclosing the property.

Dog friendly beaches

The closest dog-friendly beach is Suffolk Park which is 800m up the beach towards the lighthouse and 2 minutes drive from Broken Head. It is a local tradition to take the dogs down to the beach at Suffolk Park after 4pm so there are plenty of new play friends to be made. Byron’s other dog-friendly beaches are at Tallow Beach, Main Beach and South Golden Beach. There are also off-leash parks offered by Byron Shire Council in Bangalow, Suffolk Park, Brunswick Heads, New Brighton and Mullumbimby.
